Fall is here! The foliage is particularly spectacular this year and there are so many places to visit. Fall is also a great time to get out and enjoy the many great Oktoberfest Celebrations around the world so here is a list of the best of Oktoberfest!
Munich, Germany –
Come to Munich for the real thing. Beer, sausages, beer, sauerkraut, beer……. Munich boasts the most venues for Oktoberfest in any city in the world. Try them all, but don’t miss the beautiful German Alps and the spectacular scenery!
Santa Catrina –
Just to the north of Rio Grande Do Sul is Santa Catrina and it hosts the world’s second largest Oktoberfest in the town of Blemanau! Only Munich can rival this huge celebration!
Rio Grande Do Sul –
The meaning is “The Great River of the South” and here you will find the greatest Oktoberfest Celebration in Brazil! Located in the south of Brazil, this is not a place one would normally think of when they think of Oktoberfest. The large number of German-Brazilians insures that Oktoberfest is traditional, but with a decidedly Brazilian flair. Thousands turn out every year for this grand celebration……of Spring!

Columbus, Ohio –
